Musicals Are The New Black / No Pun Intended

This is really exciting for me, since I love musicals!!! Michelle Williams (formerly of Destiny's Chilld) will play Roxie Hart in the Tony Award winning musical, Chicago. Her seven week performance will run from Febuary 8 to March 28. Since Chicago's original run in 1975, the role of Roxy has been played by Caucasian women, so this is ground breaking for Michelle. However, she's dabbled with the Broadway stage before. She took over where Toni Braxton left off, in the Disney play Aida. So I'm not to scared that she'll ruin the story of jazz, sex and liquor for me. Good luck Michelle!!! Waste Of Moolah / What The *!@# Ever Happened To Using A Flyswatter?

I'm not a fan of insects. I'm a girl. I can honestly do without them. But this right here, geez.

What sick bastard would want to annihilate poor innocent little mosquitoes via flamethrower? As you can see in the picture obviously an individual whose off of his rocker. If Off is cutting it anymore, i guess you can go this route (you psycho), but get the hell out of bed first.

Waste Of Moolah / Because Apart Of You Is Hoping That The Stamps Will Taste Like Eggs

America is the fattest country in the world. Seriously, the obesity rates are through the roof. In light of that, one would think we'd try our best to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Clearly J & D foods didn't get that memo.

I present to you the bacon flavored envelope....*pauses so you can read the previous sentence again*.
Thats right kids, now you can lick swine and pay bills all at the same time. Just when everyone was making their resolutions to start dieting. With other products like bacon pop, baconnaise and bacon flavored salt, J & D defiently lives up to the slogan "There's always room for bacon". I fear what may follow if this is a success....bacon flavored soap....bacon ice pops *blech*.

2010 / The Great Continuing Year For Some / Possibly A Crap Beginning For Others

Billboard has just released their list of expected albums to be released in 20-10 ( or I've heard to it refereed to as 20-dime, but uhh yeah). It is expected that Maroon 5, My Chemical Romance, The New Pornographers, Jack's Mannequin and a slew of others, will be giving it another around, hopefully releasing more hits to add to their resumes.

However their are a few out there that are taking a dive into shark infested waters. Drake and Travis McCoy (of the band Gym Class Heroes)are all expected to release projects as well. Now before I start getting threating emails from crazed fans, I'll say that I'm a lover of all music and bash no one. The risk here is that both Travis and Drake are releasing DEBUT albums. That will either make or break them. There are too many critics and even more artists out there that will turn their names into oblivion, for their own sake. All I can say to both of these talented men are good luck!!!

Being that we are only 16 days into the year, I'm sure others will wake up and decided "Hey, maybe I'll put something out". What people fail to realize is that a good project is something that takes more than money. But hey who knows we might even get lucky and Mr. Diddy will make another band.

Blender Did It First / I'm Just Perfecting It

As I tinker around to get every prepped and ready for you loyal followers, I found an interesting article on Blender's website, "The 50 Worst Artists In Music History". This is great because it basically explaining what my cause is all about: TO BAN CRAPPY, TERRIBLE, SHITTY (excuse my French) MUSIC FROM OUR AIRWAVES!!!!! They go the right way by including Master P (sorry guy, but no one wants to say uhhhhh) and Color Me Bad (yeah definitely self explanatory) but loses me at The Goo Goo Dolls. Either way, enjoy this helping, because there is more to come.
